Innovation and diversification
The tannery has existed since 1947.
At its outset, it made leather for saddlery and harnesses, bicycle saddlebags and school bags.
As tractors replaced horses, the tannery diversified its production from 1965 on, making skins, decorative objects, work jackets and gloves, mittens, etc. Since 1982, it has also produced leather clothing items.
The tannery originally crafted skins from local cattle. It later diversified towards sheep skin products.
